Industrial Engineer
International company with multiple operations in the US and an excellent company to work in. We need someone who is innovative, LEAN trained, and experienced in both manufacturing and supply chain.
This position works within the Industrial Engineering team and drives the implementation of improved lean production processes, efficiency, and productivity while increasing local content and maintaining quality standards.
PRIME RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and implement production improvements and lean processes.
• Organize, maintain, and communicate necessary standards required supporting local production.
• Lead SAP Team Member to coordinate plant activities with Parent Co.
• Coordinate Engineering Change Implementation using SAP and communicating requirements
internally.
• Serve as the leader on new product introduction.
• Create, implement, audit, and maintain ISO 9001 Quality process documentation.
• Collect and maintain data to accurately drive the material control systems with BOM’s and routings.
• Advise and justify plan layout requirements to support improvements.
• Conduct production problem investigation and resolution as needed.
• Organize, maintain, and communicate necessary standards required to support local production.
• Acquire tooling quotes and prepare orders with local suppliers for production needs
• Provide hands on involvement in production and construction of necessary production tools, fixtures,
and assembly equipment and systems.
• Lead Engineering Change Implementation
• Create Bill of Material (BOM)/KMAT/Routings for new products and changes.
• Additional duties as assigned
